This is an original U.S. military Fire Control Telescope Model M70C. The telescope is clearly marked “TELESCOPE M70C” along with Stock Number 7578372 and Serial Number 96226.
The telescope retains its original olive drab military finish. External markings remain clear and legible. The optic assembly is intact, and the lenses appear clear when visually inspected.
This example includes its original wooden military transport crate. The crate contains internal packaging marked “TELESCOPE” with matching serial number 96226 corresponding to the telescope body.
Also included is the original military inspection tag marked “Fire Control Materiel – Final Inspection,” dated December 1960, with inspector markings present.
The telescope remains accompanied by its protective storage wrap and packaging materials as shown.
