Swiss Schmidt-Rubin Model 1911 Long Rifle chambered in 7.5×55 Swiss, manufactured in 1918.
This rifle retains its classic Swiss military long-rifle configuration, featuring the distinctive Schmidt-Rubin straight-pull action and original-style adjustable rear sight. The serial numbers are matching throughout, including the receiver, bolt, magazine, and other numbered components inspected.
Small three-digit markings are present on the rear sight assembly and an internal bolt component. These are manufacturing/assembly markings rather than the rifle’s serial number and do not affect its matching-number status.
The metalwork remains in good overall condition, showing normal finish wear consistent with its age and military service. The wood stock is clean and complete, with normal service-related scratches and handling marks, and no visible cracks.
The bore is in good condition with strong, clearly defined rifling. The rifle also retains a Swiss military-style muzzle protector.
Overall, this is a well-preserved, matching-number 1918 Schmidt-Rubin Model 1911 Long Rifle in its classic Swiss military configuration.
