Original Japanese Arisaka Type 38 Leather Sling – Early/Mid-War Production

An authentic WWII-era Japanese Arisaka Type 38 rifle leather sling in original condition. This example measures 3 cm in width and retains its early/mid-war configuration featuring a brass buckle, steel “one-piece” retaining stud, and natural-aged leather. The sling shows honest service wear with light surface cracks and patina, but remains structurally sound and completely functional.

The brass buckle has developed a natural green verdigris patina, and the original steel stud is intact – features often missing on surviving examples.

This sling is an excellent piece for completing an Arisaka Type 38 or early Type 99 rifle, adding both authenticity and value to the firearm.
