Excellent example of a Danish-marked M1 Garand in service-worn, all-original configuration. Receiver is stamped with the Crown / FKF marking and clear serial/panel stamps (see photos). Metal retains most of its original parkerized finish with honest surface wear and areas of thinning from handling and service use. Furniture is the original three-piece full military walnut stock set; the rear handguard is the shorter wartime length and there is a small gap visible at the receiver/pistol-grip junction consistent with long service life and field fitting.
This rifle features a blade front sight with protective ears and ramp, an adjustable rear aperture (peep) sight with protective ears, milled trigger guard, checkered steel buttplate with trap, and an original bayonet lug. Action and internals are present and appear complete in the photos; the bolt and receiver geometry look correct for an M1 pattern.
Overall this is a desirable, honest service rifle for the collector or equipment-style display: all major components are present, markings are clear, and the rifle retains its original military appearance without modern aftermarket alterations.
