Offered here is an original Czechoslovak VZ.58 bayonet designed for the 7.62×39mm VZ.58 rifle platform, including compatibility with the civilian CZ858 / VZ.858 rifles.
This example features the distinctive two-piece reddish-brown composite grip panels, steel crossguard, and original blade profile characteristic of Cold War-era Czech military production. The ricasso is marked "51G66" on one side and "098" on the reverse.
The bayonet is accompanied by its original brown leather scabbard with integral belt loop. The scabbard shows honest service wear and contains several period hand-written markings, adding character and evidence of military use and field storage.
The blade remains in solid surplus condition with visible original machining marks and a clean profile. The composite grip panels are secure and free from major damage. The scabbard remains functional with intact stitching and hardware.
