Original pair of U.S. Army M-1938 canvas gaiters, used by American troops during WWII. These olive drab dismounted leggings were worn over the tops of service shoes to provide ankle support and keep dirt and debris out.

  • Markings: Clearly stamped “Leggings, Canvas, M-1938, Dismounted, O.D., Johnson, Stephens and Shinkle Shoe Co., 10-27-43, Stock No. 72-L-61502, Jeffersonville Q.M. Depot”.

  • Features:

    • Heavy OD green canvas construction

    • Original laces and metal fittings present

    • Brass hooks and eyelets
