An original U.S. M1 Bayonet manufactured by Oneida Limited (OL) and dated 1943, during the height of World War II production.

The ricasso is clearly marked “OL / U.S. / 1943”, identifying production by Oneida Limited, one of the American contractors responsible for manufacturing military bayonets during WWII. The bayonet features a 10-inch blade, original brown composite grip panels, steel crossguard, and U.S. military acceptance markings including the Flaming Bomb Ordnance Stamp.

The blade remains in very good overall condition, showing only honest service and storage wear consistent with age. The tip remains intact, and the bayonet retains an attractive military appearance throughout.

Included is a VP-marked M3 fiberglass scabbard manufactured by Victory Plastics. The scabbard remains structurally sound and displays normal handling and storage wear consistent with military service and long-term storage.

Designed for use with the M1 Garand rifle, the M1 bayonet remains one of the most recognizable edged weapons of the Second World War and is highly sought after by collectors of U.S. military memorabilia.
