Offered here is an original World War II era Canadian Brodie steel helmet shell. These helmets follow the classic Brodie design used widely by British and Commonwealth forces during the First and Second World Wars. The example offered here is a shell only, without the internal liner or chinstrap assembly.

The interior rim shows a very faint stamped marking indicating the manufacturing year. Some examples are marked 1941, while others are marked 1942. The stampings are shallow and worn but still visible under the paint when viewed carefully. Helmets will be selected at random between these two dates.

The helmet retains its original military olive drab paint with typical field wear, scratches, and handling marks consistent with age and service. The rim and shell remain structurally solid, with no major deformation. The classic wide brim and shallow dome profile characteristic of the Brodie pattern are clearly preserved.

This listing is for one helmet shell only. No liner, suspension, or chinstrap components are included. Because the liner mounting brackets remain intact, these shells are suitable for display, restoration projects, or as a base for completing a period-correct Brodie helmet setup.

Due to the nature of surplus military items, each helmet will show slightly different wear patterns and patina, but all examples are similar in overall condition to the ones shown in the photos.
