A WWI-era German Ersatz-style military bayonet associated with the Turkish Mauser M88/M93 rifle series, complete with a black steel scabbard.

The term "Ersatz" means "substitute" in German and is commonly used to describe wartime replacement equipment produced during the First World War. Similar bayonets were also modified for use by the Turkish military.

This example features a double-fullered blade, wooden grip panels, a crossguard with muzzle ring, and a distinctive bird's-head pommel.
