The Winchester Model 12 is widely regarded as one of the finest pump-action shotguns ever produced in the United States. Introduced in 1912 and manufactured until 1963, the Model 12 earned its reputation for exceptional machining quality, smooth operation, and outstanding reliability. Built with a forged steel receiver and Winchester's renowned hammerless action, it remains one of the most sought-after classic sporting shotguns.
Offered here is a Winchester Model 12 Field Grade chambered in 12 Gauge, fitted with an approximately 28-inch Winchester Proof Steel barrel marked FULL choke. The shotgun retains its classic plain barrel configuration with the original corncob-style walnut forend and walnut buttstock.
The metal finish remains in very respectable condition with honest handling wear consistent with age. The walnut furniture is solid with normal field marks but no obvious structural damage observed. The action cycles smoothly, and the bore is bright and clean with excellent overall appearance.
Whether for hunting, clay shooting, or collection, the Winchester Model 12 remains one of the most iconic American pump-action shotguns ever produced and continues to be highly appreciated by shooters and collectors alike.
