This is a genuine U.S. Model of 1917 rifle manufactured by Remington Arms at the Ilion factory, chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The M1917 Enfield was America’s most widely issued rifle during WWI, with Remington producing approximately 545,000 rifles. Compared to the more common Eddystone rifles, Remington examples are scarcer and more desirable among collectors.

There is a surface mark on the barrel near the muzzle. This does not affect function in any way, only cosmetics.

During our testing, we found that the ejector does not complete the final step of ejecting the spent case. All other functions — feeding, firing, and extraction — operate normally. This does not affect the ability to load, fire, or extract, but cases are not currently being fully ejected clear of the action.
