This is a genuine U.S. Model of 1917 rifle manufactured by Remington Arms at the Ilion factory, chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The M1917 Enfield was America’s most widely issued rifle during WWI, and Remington-produced examples are generally considered scarcer and more desirable than the more commonly encountered Eddystone rifles.
