This is an original U.S. military M1956 belt, widely issued from the mid-1950s through the Vietnam War. Designed as part of the M1956 Load-Carrying Equipment (LCE) system, this heavy-duty canvas web belt was used by American troops to carry sidearms, ammunition pouches, canteens, and other essential field gear.
Authenticity: Stamped with “U.S.” marking and manufacturer’s inspection symbol, confirming genuine U.S. issue.
Material: Durable olive drab (OD7) cotton canvas with metal hardware.
