This rare and desirable antique single-shot under-lever tip-up rifle is marked “Ranger” and is mechanically identical to the Stevens Marksman Model 12. Chambered in .32 Rimfire, it retains its early-1900s configuration and character. The action is tight and functional. Barrel is 20" with fair–good rifling. Both front and rear sights are present. The stock has a visible crack at the wrist and the butt plate is missing; the forearm is in fair–good condition. Metal surfaces show a natural aged patina and there is no evidence of modern refinishing.
