This Remington Woodsmaster Model 742 semi-automatic rifle is chambered in .30-06 Springfield and features a 22-inch barrel with a classic walnut stock and fore-end.
The rifle is in exceptionally good overall condition. The receiver and barrel retain a beautiful metal finish, showing only minimal signs of normal handling and use. The wood stock and fore-end are particularly well preserved, featuring a rich, attractive finish with sharp, well-defined checkering. There are no visible cracks, and only minor handling marks are present.
The bore is clean and bright, with strong, sharp, well-defined rifling in excellent condition.
The rifle retains its original Remington-marked buttplate, which is also in very good condition.

A Fontaine riflescope is included at no additional charge, already mounted on the rifle. The scope shows normal signs of use.
Overall, this is an exceptionally well-preserved Remington Model 742, with beautiful wood, excellent metal condition, and a very nice bore.
