This is a Remington Model 788 bolt-action rifle chambered in .308 Winchester, featuring a 22-inch barrel and a customized stock designed for precision shooting. The Model 788, produced between 1967–1983, was known for its nine rear-locking lugs bolt design, giving it excellent accuracy and strength at an affordable price. Today, it is considered a collectible classic with a reputation for being one of the most accurate factory rifles of its era.
