Description:
This is a rare French Lebel Model 1886 M93 bolt-action rifle, manufactured at Manufacture d’Armes de Tulle. The Lebel was the world’s first military rifle designed for smokeless powder and served as the backbone of the French Army through both World Wars.

What makes this example truly exceptional is that it retains all matching serial numbers (72114) on the receiver, bolt, trigger guard, stock, and other major components – something extremely rare among surviving Lebel rifles. Most rifles encountered today are mismatched due to heavy wartime use and post-war arsenal work.

Model: Lebel Mle 1886 M93

Manufacturer: Manufacture d’Armes de Tulle

Caliber: 8x50mmR Lebel

Serial Number:  (all matching)

Condition:
Metal shows age-related patina and honest service wear. Wood furniture carries dings and handling marks typical of a rifle that saw field use but remains structurally sound. Bore condition is good, with clear and defined rifling.

Collector’s Note:

All-matching Lebel rifles are exceedingly scarce, especially in Canada where availability is nearly non-existent.

This is a rare opportunity to own a fully matching, collector-grade Lebel 1886 M93 – a true centerpiece for any serious military collection.
