This is a desirable Polish-manufactured M44 Mosin-Nagant carbine, dated 1952 and produced at the FB Radom arsenal, as indicated by the prominent oval “11” marking on the receiver. Chambered in 7.62x54R, this iconic Cold War-era bolt-action rifle features an attached, folding spike bayonet and classic hardwood stock.
- Arsenal: FB Radom (Poland)
- Year of Manufacture: 1952
- Caliber: 7.62x54R
- Serial Numbers: Matching on receiver, bolt, floor plate, buttplate
- Bayonet: Original side-folding spike bayonet
- Condition: Very good to excellent overall. Bluing is strong with only light handling wear. Stock is solid with minor marks from storage. Bore is bright with strong rifling.
This is a collector-grade Cold War surplus rifle, not a Soviet example. The Polish M44s are renowned for their craftsmanship, clean machining, and superior blue finish compared to wartime Soviet production.
