This ERA P14 began life as a Pattern 1914 Enfield (.303 British) and was later sporterized for hunting use while retaining its original military receiver, sights, and action. Metal parts show patina and service wear but remain solid. The bore is bright with visible rifling (see photos). The wood stock has been refinished into a smooth sporter profile with a traditional walnut tone.
This example is desirable for collectors due to its matching serials on all major components, a rare feature among modified P14s. It also provides an excellent foundation for restoration back to its original military configuration.
