This is an antique J.M. Marlin Pocket Revolver, manufactured circa 1878–1880 in New Haven, Connecticut, U.S.A. These compact spur-trigger revolvers were marketed as personal defense “pocket pistols” in the late 19th century. With limited production, they are now highly collectible.

Condition: Mechanically functional, cylinder indexes and locks properly. Metal shows natural age-related wear and patina. Markings remain clear and legible.
