This Marlin Model 1894 Trapper (Model #70451) in .44 Rem Mag / .44 Special is a modern Ruger-manufactured production example, shipped in late 2025. Following Ruger’s acquisition of the Marlin brand in 2020, current-production Marlin rifles are manufactured in Mayodan, North Carolina, USA. These newer Ruger-era Marlins are well regarded for their improved fit, finish, and overall production quality compared to earlier Remington-era examples. This is a Marlin Model 1894 Skinner Trapper lever-action rifle chambered in .44 Remington Magnum, featuring a compact 16-inch barrel configuration, grey laminate furniture, large loop lever, and factory Skinner-style sight setup. The rifle remains in near-new condition and comes complete with the original factory box and accessories.

Built on the modern Ruger-manufactured Marlin platform, this 1894 combines classic lever-action handling with upgraded modern fit and finish. The short 16-inch barrel and compact overall profile make it an exceptionally fast-handling rifle, ideal for bush carry, range use, or general-purpose field applications.
