This is a Canadian-made Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk I* rifle manufactured by Long Branch and dated 1950, representing post-war Canadian production of the No.4 series.

The rifle is in exceptionally good overall condition, retaining its original military configuration. The receiver and bolt show matching serial numbers, a desirable feature that adds significant collector value. Metal surfaces display an even, honest finish with no signs of abuse or improper modification, and all major components appear correct for a Long Branch Mk I* rifle.

The original hardwood stock set is in excellent condition, showing only minor handling marks consistent with careful service and storage. No structural issues are observed. The bore is clean and bright with strong, well-defined rifling, indicating minimal use and proper maintenance.

This rifle is fitted with its original rear aperture sight, correct front sight assembly, and retains its proper military profile throughout. Included with the rifle are a correct period sling and an original oil bottle, both excellent additions for collectors seeking a complete and authentic package.

Overall, this is a high-quality example of a post-war Long Branch No.4 Mk I* with matching numbers, strong bore condition, and excellent originality—well suited for both discerning collectors and enthusiasts of Canadian military firearms.
