Offered here is a Lakefield Mossberg Model 500AB pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge. The receiver is clearly marked "LAKEFIELD MOSSBERG – MADE IN CANADA – 500AB – 12 GA," identifying it as one of the Canadian-produced  Mossberg 500 platform.

The Mossberg 500 series has earned a reputation for its simple, reliable pump-action design and has been widely used for sporting, hunting, and general-purpose applications for decades. The 500AB follows this proven design, featuring the classic top-mounted tang safety and smooth pump-action operation.

This example is fitted with a walnut buttstock and matching ribbed walnut forend. The wood remains in very good overall condition, showing only light handling marks consistent with normal use. A factory Mossberg recoil pad is installed at the rear.

One of the defining characteristics of the 500AB is its approximately 13-inch length of pull, giving the shotgun a more compact fit than many full-size sporting shotguns. This configuration is well suited to shooters who prefer a shorter reach to the trigger and quicker handling.

The metal finish remains in good overall condition with honest signs of handling and use. Based on the provided photos, the bore appears bright and clean.
