Historical Background:
The Lahti-Saloranta LS/26 was adopted in the late 1920s as Finland’s primary light machine gun, chambered in 7.62x54mmR and manufactured by the state-owned Valtion Kivääritehdas. It saw extensive service during the Winter War and World War II. Due to its limited production and survival rate, especially in such complete condition, the LS/26 is highly sought after by military collectors worldwide.
