Offered here is an original U.S. Army M1944 wool field jacket, commonly known as the “Ike” jacket, dating to the early post–WWII/Korean War period. This example is size 34-XS, with interior markings reading: “Jackets, Wool, O.D., Pattern Date 5-27-46”.

Constructed of brown OD wool with fly-front closure, this jacket is fully badged to a Corporal of the 45th Infantry Division. It features:

  • Insignia & Badges:

    • 45th Infantry Division “Thunderbird” shoulder patch (red & yellow)

    • Corporal chevrons on both sleeves

    • U.S. collar disc badge

    • Crossed rifles infantry collar badge
