Offered here is an early FN Belgium–manufactured Browning-marked .22 Long pump-action rifle, produced during the classic FN–Browning collaboration period of the early 20th century.
The barrel is clearly marked Browning, with original French factory markings from Fabrique Nationale d’Armes de Guerre, Herstal, Belgique, and the trigger guard bears the FN oval logo, confirming Belgian manufacture for Browning.
This rifle features a smooth pump-action mechanism, tubular magazine, and a traditional wood stock with ribbed fore-end. The metal surfaces show an even, honest patina consistent with age, while the wood displays typical handling marks and good overall character. The bore appears bright with strong rifling, a desirable feature for a vintage .22 Long rifle.
The rifle is fitted with iron sights; the rear sight is a later aftermarket addition and not the original factory-installed sight, a common period modification seen on many early rimfire rifles.
