This is a fully operational Dickinson “Commando” model 12-gauge pump-action shotgun, featuring an 18.5-inch open bore barrel and chambered to accept 3-inch shells. Styled in the rugged Defender configuration, it offers reliable performance and straightforward operation.
This particular shotgun holds a unique place in television history — it was screen-used by actor Don Froese during the filming of Deadman’s Curse, a History Channel series produced by Great Pacific Media. It appeared in Season 1, Episodes 6 & 7: “The Troubling Tale of Bute Inlet Gold – Part 1 & 2”.
The shotgun remains in good overall condition, showing only minor surface marks consistent with on-set use. It has been fired a few times and functions as intended. Included with the sale is the original Certificate of Authenticity from the producers, verifying its provenance as an official production firearm from Deadman’s Curse.
This is a rare opportunity to own a functional firearm with documented screen history, making it equally appealing to collectors, shooting enthusiasts, and fans of the series.
