Original WWII British .380 Inch (.38/200) Revolver Ammunition, factory-sealed 12-round cardboard box, produced by I.S.A.A. (Indian Small Arms Ammunition) for use by British and Commonwealth forces. This is the Mk IIz smokeless-powder variant, widely issued during 1941–1945 for Enfield No.2 service revolvers and Webley Mk IV sidearms.
The box remains factory sealed, with only one age-related split on the outer flap that allows a view of the cartridges inside. All cartridges are in exceptional condition, featuring clean brass cases, intact purple primer sealant, and headstamps including “RΛL 42” (Royal Laboratory Woolwich, 1942), along with other Commonwealth wartime cases—typical of mixed lot wartime Indian-packaged ammunition.
Well-preserved ISAA sealed boxes are increasingly scarce, and examples containing Royal Laboratory WWII cases are even more desirable. This is an excellent historical companion piece for any collector of Webley or Enfield revolvers, representing genuine wartime issue ammunition.
