This is an original factory box of Kynoch 9mm Mauser cartridges, 10 rounds, manufactured at the Kynoch factories (Imperial Chemical Industries Limited, Metals Division), Witton, Birmingham, England, and imported into Canada by Canadian Industries Limited (Ammunition Division), Montreal.
Bullet / load: Metal-covered soft-nose, 245 grains.
Propellant: Nitro-cellulose powder.
Packaging: the cartridges inside are wrapped in wax paper, typical of Kynoch’s sporting-ammunition packaging of the period.
Headstamp: “KYNOCH 9M/M”, confirming original manufacture.
Condition: The outer box shows light to moderate shelf/handling wear and some label loss but remains structurally sound. Internal paper wraps are present; the brass shows mild age toning with no obvious heavy corrosion in photos.
Collector notes: Kynoch stopped commercial sporting-cartridge production decades ago, so a complete 10-round box in original packaging is desirable to collectors of British sporting ammunition and Mauser enthusiasts.
