Italian Vetterli Modello 1870/87/15 Rifle – 6.5×52 Carcano

Offered here is an Italian Vetterli Modello 1870/87/15 bolt-action military rifle chambered in 6.5×52 Carcano.

The receiver is marked Brescia and dated 1883, indicating an original 19th century production later adapted into the 1870/87/15. The rifle retains the characteristic converted magazine arrangement and overall long rifle military configuration. Serial numbers match on the stock and receiver.

The bore is slightly frosty with some shine and good rifling. The stock is in sound condition with no cracks or repairs. All parts are present.

This is a very good example of an uncommon Italian Vetterli-Carcano rifle.
