This is a classic Baikal IJ-27 over/under shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge, manufactured in the former Soviet Union and well known for its rugged construction, reliable lockup, and practical field performance. The IJ-27 series has earned a reputation as one of the most durable working over/under shotguns ever produced.
This example features a 28-inch barrel set, traditional double triggers, and an engraved receiver with factory game-scene artwork. The walnut stock and forend display attractive grain patterns and classic checkering, giving the shotgun a timeless sporting appearance.
The shotgun remains in very good overall condition. The metal finish presents well with normal handling marks consistent with use, while the wood furniture remains solid and attractive. The bores appear bright and clean from visual inspection.
A red dot sight has been mounted to the ventilated rib and is included with the shotgun.
