According to surviving Seki swordsmith records, he was born in \u003cstrong\u003e1915\u003c\/strong\u003e and was officially registered as a Seki swordsmith on \u003cstrong\u003eApril 1, 1940 (Showa 15)\u003c\/strong\u003e.
